Mountain Lodge No. 140 was chartered as a Subordinate Lodge to the Grand Lodge of Virginia in 1878. The lodge is one of eight lodges in Masonic District 22b. These lodges are located in the Roanoke Valley.
Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest fraternal organization. It is open to men of 18 years old or older, any religion, and nationality or social standing. Our only requirement is a belief in a Supreme Being. We believe that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, faith, country and the fraternity. Today, there are more than 42,000 Virginia Masons in over 300 Lodges throughout the Commonwealth.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Mountain Masonic Lodge, all you have to do to get started is ask a Mason about Membership.
